Objective - To assess the role of stakeholders in conducting road safety awareness campaigns .
1. Key stakeholders conduct various activities to educate the public, to raise public awareness, for shorter duration and briefer manner and it lasts for lesser period.
2. The contents used in educating the public are negative and restraining words. The science of psychology says negative and restraining words don’t work.
3. Don’t jump red signals, don’t over speed, don’t use mobile phone and don’t drink and drive are the awareness messages used to educate the public and they will go against to these messages.
4. Action and behavior of road users on roads are not monitored and in the absence of this road users use public roads as public amusement park.
5. Once the awareness campaign is completed the assessment, review and audit of road users are not conducted.
6. The issues of Road users are not being addressed in the awareness campaigns.
7. The campaigns programs are not ensuring the desired outcome and impact of their awareness in road users.
8. Awareness campaigns are conducted once in a year and thereafter they are not engaging road users to practice road safety.
9. The traditional education & road safety training is strengthening the 7th sense by 10% & our addiction to instant gratification is so strong & it overpowers.
10. The root cause of the increasing accidental suicides is our addiction to instant gratification and our weak inner intelligence. By strengthening our 7th sense we can get rid of our addiction to instant gratification.
11. People are already loaded with tons of information and do they really pay attention to those get the benefit.
12 All key stakeholders are conducting public awareness campaigns to reduce road accident deaths but the impacts of all those campaigns are turning out useless.
If an extinguished lamp is having an illusion that it is lit and tries to illuminate other extinguished lamps and other extinguished lamps are also having illusion that they are lit then darkness will prevail. The road safety educators have not learned the inner world specialization in the field of sustainable road safety. They have not learned how to manage minds and cognitive situations. Road safety educators must learn inner world education.
If all students are passing all subjects and failing in mathematic subject then who can be held responsible. The mathematic teacher will be held responsible for the failure of students. If students are failing in road safety subject, then road safety educators should be held responsible. Mathematic and road safety subject both required regular practice.
Why awareness campaigns are not working
1.1 Awareness programs are designed to give the knowledge of outer world but no knowledge of inner world is provided.
1.2 Spraying water on leaves will not make a plant fruitful unless the water is supplied to its roots. Spraying knowledge on the superficial level will not make a knowledge fruitful unless the knowledge is supplied to the inner intelligence. Awareness programs are conducted to sprinkle knowledge to superficial level but not supplied to inner intelligence.
1,3 Habit formation is not done. Habit is the intersection of Knowledge, Skills and Desire. Knowledge is the theoretical paradigm, the WHAT to do and the WHY. Skill is the HOW to do. And desire is the Motivation, the WANT to do.
1.4 The melting point of iron is 1538 degree Celsius and when it is attained then energy transformation occurs and it forms the desired shape. The melting point of gold is 1064 degree Celsius when it attains then energy transformation occurs & it forms the desired shape of jewelry.
1.5 Similarly efforts also have melting point and energy transformation also takes place. When the melting point of efforts is attained then the energy transformation occurs and it forms the desired habit. If melting point is not reached the energy transformation will not occur and inner intelligence will remain weak and people will discontinue because of the addiction to instant gratification.
1.6 The addiction to instant gratification is so powerful that it easily overpowers the weak intelligence. There is a very thin line between instant gratification and delayed gratification. People cross this thin line more often and become addicted and then it is very difficult for them to make a comeback.
1.7 Addiction is very dangerous and it is very difficult for a drug addict to get out of this addiction. Similarly the addiction to instant gratification is very dangerous and it is very difficult for a person addicted to instant gratification to get out of this addiction.
1.8 It is very important to understand that an overdose of a drug kills the drug addict but small dose of instant gratification on road is so dangerous that it not only kills the person addicted to instant gratification but also the people around him.
1.9 Youth are offered doses of drugs by evil members of the society and our youth can say no to this offer if they have a strong relationship with their outside world i.e. their family.
1.10 A dose of instant gratification is offered to us by our own mind and we can say no to that offer, provided we have a strong connection with our inner world.
1.11 When our seventh sense is weak we often become too easily defeated by our own minds. The strength of our inner world will help us and support us when we need it and all support systems of the outer world are temporary.
1.12 A large number of devils of instant gratification are attacking us and if our seventh sense is strong then it defeats the soldiers of instant gratification.
1.13 The devils force of instant gratification is very powerful and we always have to stand like a guard at the door of our inner world and our 7th sense is the Chief Commander of our inner world, but we have given the control to the Deputy Commander (our mind) and we have become slave to our mind.
1.14 An unhappy person doesn’t understand wisdom even a happy person doesn’t understand wisdom. Unhappy persons only look for what they need for their dire need. Happy persons don’t want to take any upgrade advice because they feel they know everything.
1.15 If sown in barren land the seed gets destroyed and if sown in the garden of barren mind, even the seeds of words get destroyed. For these reason people are unable to take the knowledge in to their inner intelligence and unable to implement it into their daily life. Consequently the risk of accidental suicide is looming over us.
1.16. People participate in awareness campaigns and appreciate and clap at venue, but people are not implementing insights into reality, not transforming awareness into preparedness.
1.17. People violate road traffic rules in urgency and emergency and repeat them to satisfy instant gratification and have become addicted to instant gratification. They are being allured by the silver hat hacks and they should keep themselves away from these allures.
1.18 If an advocate violates law of the country then the punishment is higher for him compare to illiterate person because he knows the way how to escape, and road users are unaware with the fact that they can escape from the court of law but cannot escape from the court of Almighty.
1.19. People are failing to update themselves and are becoming outdated. They are expecting updated outcome with outdated experience which is madness. There is no update button, we have to do it manually.
8.20 Continuing doing the same if the desired results are not achieved is madness and road users should improve the quality of input, process and the brain memory
All road users must acquire inner world specialization in sustainable road safety. Remove all reactive words used in awareness campaigns across the globe and including the websites of all key stake holders. The use of don't and no words are reactive words and road users are going against the message.
